The Fish Pool Index, short FPI,  is based on a weighted weekly average of Superior quality, head-on gutted salmon sizes 3-6 kg.  The FPI is used for settlement of all financial salmon contracts.   Kontali Analyse is every quarter making an assessment report to Fish Pool Index Surveillance board.  

DnB is the first Norwegian bank that offers their clients trading of contracts at Fish Pool. The list is now counting ten banks and brokers. And the Danish are on their way.
